Amari Cooper announces today
Amari Cooper watched his name escalate on the Alabama list in July when he participated at the Tide's final summer camp. He earned a scholarship offer from the coaching staff and immediately had high interest in the Tide.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect is one of the top offensive threats in the Sunshine State. His commitment to Alabama will give the Tide three of Florida's elite athletes joining National 100 recruits Eddie Williams and Chris Black.
"Alabama offered me at the camp," Cooper said after his visit to Tuscaloosa. "It's definitely one of my better offers. I really like the school. They are pretty high on my list. They play football based on match-ups. If they have a mis-match they are going to take advantage of it. I really like that.
Florida State and Miami are also among the contenders for Cooper's signature.
