"I had a monster game the other night."

Ryan Anderson, three-star defensive end from Daphne, Ala., had the best game of his high school career Friday night against Baldwin County. Anderson is standout defensive player for the Trojans who look to return to the Class 6A state championship. Andrew Bone has the latest with the Tide commitment who also provides his Saturday picks.

"I had a monster game the other night," said Ryan Anderson. "I had five sacks, 12 tackles and a forced fumble. We were playing Baldwin County. This week we play Foley."

Anderson was scheduled to visit Tuscaloosa this past weekend, but decided not to attend the home opener. He plans to take an unofficial visit in the near future.

The University of Alabama will travel to Penn State this weekend to face the Nittany Lions.

"Bama should win by three scores," Anderson said. "I should be on Gameday with [Lee] Corso."

Anderson was tested on a few other SEC matchups this weekend after his Gameday comment. He was asked to pick the winner of the Mississippi State/Auburn game and South Carolina/Georgia game.

"I think the Mississippi State/Auburn game will be a close one," said Anderson. "If I had to pick one I will say State. I am picking South Carolina in the other game."

We will find out this Saturday how well Anderson does with his predictions.
