Commitments: 2013

The University of Alabama has landed three commitments for the class of 2013. How are the other schools in the region doing for next year's class? Andrew Bone takes a closer look at the players who have already pulled the trigger.


The Tide has a trio of players on board including an early rated five-star in outside linebacker Reuben Foster (6-1, 228) from LaGrange-Troup County, Ga.; O.J. Howard (6-5, 220), tight end from Prattville-Autauga Academy, Ala.; Bradley Bozeman (6-5, 315), offensive tackle from Roanoke-Handley, Ala.


The Razorbacks have reeled in an out-of-state commitment from Jamel James (6-0, 210), running back from Katy-Cinco Ranch, Texas.


The Tigers have three on board with Dee Liner (6-4, 260), defensive tackle from Muscle Shoals, Ala.; Trey Johnson (6-1, 208) outside linebacker from Lawrenceville-Central Gwinnett, Ga.; Jayron Kearse (6-4, 185), wide receiver from Fort Meyers-Cypress Lake, Fla.


The Bulldogs have four commitments with Brice Ramsey (6-3, 197), quarterback from Kingsland-Camden County, Ga.; Derrick Henry (6-3, 225), running back from Yulee, Fla.; Tramel Terry (5-11.5, 173), wide receiver from Goose Creek, S.C.; Tray Matthews (6-1, 191), safety from Newnan, Ga.

Florida State

The Seminoles have added a pair of commitments with Austin Golson (6-6, 275), offensive tackle from Prattville, Ala.; Sojourn Shelton (5-9, 170), cornerback from Plantation, Fla.


The Tigers have picked up one commitment with Jeryl Brazil (5-9, 176), cornerback from Loranger, La.


The Hurricanes have one commitment with Kermit Whitfield (5-10, 163), wide receiver from Orlando-Jones, Fla.

Ole Miss

The Rebels have one commitment in Kailo Moore (6-0, 185), running back from Rosedale-West Bolivar, Miss.


The Volunteers have an in-state commitment from Austin Sanders (6-6, 300), offensive guard from Cleveland-Bradley, Tenn.
