ScoutTV: Marlon Humphrey

Marlon Humphrey, cornerback from Hoover, Ala., started his first ever game earlier this year against one of the top high school football programs in the country. The son of former Alabama great, Bobby Humphrey, and brother to Arkansas wide receiver Maurdrecus Humphrey, will receive plenty of attention during the next couple of years. He leads Jefferson County in interceptions with four.

Marlon Humphrey was a standout on the defensive side of the ball earlier this year as Hoover defeated South Panola, 24-13. Humphrey didn't play afraid. He rose to the occasion and played physical, quick and made plays all day.

Humphrey started the game with a blocked punt on South Panola's first possession to set up Hoover with their first points of the game. He ended the game with an interception late in the fourth quarter.

The 6-foot-0, 165-pound prospect is a little different from his father and brother in the fact he plays on the defensive side of the ball. He fits the family bill with blazing speed and also a track star.
