C Spire Wireless, the nation's largest privately owned wireless communications provider, has partnered with Fox Sports South to broadcast the encounter known as the "War on the Eastern Shore."
Thirteen million households from seven Southeastern states will tune in for the Thursday evening, October 13th, 7:10 PM CT kickoff from W.C. Majors Field in Fairhope. The winning team will receive the honorary Jubilee Cup.
NFL-level pyrotechnics will enhance the already charged atmosphere prior to kickoff according to C Spire Wireless Public Relations Specialist, Anita Clarke. The world's largest mobile Jumbotron video messaging and display board, an interactive source of fun for fans, will be set up at the stadium. Additionally, a Coast Guard flyover and a video perspective of the rivalry will captivate the audience.
Monday's C Spire Wireless press conference at the Fairhope Recreational Center allowed the head coaches and principals from each respective school, along with the mayors of the two communities, to celebrate the match-up and promote the event.
