Northridge duo visiting Alabama

It sure makes it convenient when two recruiting targets are in your own backyard. James Cox and Bo Scarborough are underclassmen, from Tuscaloosa-Northridge, Ala., who will visit Alabama on Saturday when the Tide hosts the Volunteers in the SEC match-up.

"I think it should be a good game to watch," said 2014 athlete Bo Scarborough. "Tennessee is going to give them a run for the win. I would like to see Alabama in a close game, so I can see how they fight for the win."

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound sophomore has an early scholarship offer from Alabama. He also has offers from Mississippi State and Troy.

James Cox is a talented 2013 receiver with offers from Mississippi State and Purdue with Boilermakers offering Wednesday evening.

"I like the offer," said Cox. "It's another opportunity for the free education. It's Big 10. They have a lot of tradition."

Cox has not received an offer from Alabama at this point, but he receiving a lot of interest. He expects a different game out of the Tide on Saturday.

"I think Alabama is going to win big," he said.

Cox and Scarborough have helped lead Northridge to an undefeated season. They face Hillcrest in the region championship Friday night.
