Tide Athletics Has Halloween Party

The Alabama Athletics Department's ninth annual Halloween Extravaganza will be held Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the Crimson Tide's Indoor Football Practice Facility. The event is sponsored by the University of Alabama Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

"We are thrilled to have the children of our community come out and share in the festivities of the season in a safe and fun environment," Jill Lancaster, Director of LifeSkills, said.

The Halloween Extravaganza is a night for children of the West Alabama community to dress up and play games with some of their favorite Alabama student-athletes.

"The community is there for us in so many ways and this is a way for us to give back to them," Kyle Weeks, senior swimmer and president of SAAC, said. "The student athletes have just as much fun as the kids."

Each Alabama team will host different games and activities at the Extravaganza. This fun event is open to children 13 and under and their families and admission is free.

The Indoor Football Practice Facility is directly West of Coleman Coliseum.
