ScoutTV: Reggie Ragland

Reggie Ragland, five-star linebacker from Madison-Bob Jones, Ala., helped lead his team to a 9-1 regular season record in 2011. The only loss came against Hoover last week. The Bucs did a good job of running away from Ragland and double-teaming him most of the night. Scout.com captured a highlights of Ragland.

Reggie Ragland is a player who is easily spotted on the football field. We are accustomed to the size of linebackers who line up for the University of Alabama. Ragland has the same look at 6-foot-4, 240-pounds and very physical.

Ragland had the look early in his career of becoming the next Rolando McClain. He now looks more like a mix between Dont'a Hightower and Courtney Upshaw. He does a good job shedding blocks, rushing the passer and tackling.

The Tide commitment can always work on his backside pursuit and over running plays. He is a great looking player who already has the look of an Alabama linebacker.
