James Winston talks Tide game

Jameis Winston, five-star quarterback from Hueytown, Ala., returned to Tuscaloosa Saturday night for the second time this season. Winston gave his thoughts about the overtime game.

"It was a great game atmosphere," said Jameis Winston. "Many missed opportunities on both sides. I loved being a part of that atmosphere. It was the best defensive game I've seen."

Winston lives 45 minutes from the University of Alabama campus, but committed to Florida State in August.

Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban attended Winston's game during Alabama's bye week.

"I am still solid with FSU, but I am still keeping in touch with Bama and LSU coaches," Winston said. "My thoughts on Alabama is I can't go wrong with them. I am still confident in my decision with FSU. I have a long time until it's really over."

Hueytown (11-0) hosts Eufaula (10-1) Friday night in the second round of the Alabama high school state playoffs.
