Deon Mix talks Alabama visit
"The atmosphere was crazy," said Deon Mix. "It was crazy being on the field. My adrenaline was pumping. I felt like I was playing in the game. The fans were crazy.
"It was a real physical game. Defense. That's all I can say. I did watch the offensive line real hard. I thought Alabama and LSU lines blocked pretty good."
Mix, who visited Tuscaloosa with his mom, talked with the coaches before leaving Bryant-Denny Stadium.
"The coaches talked to us after the game," he said. "It was great. All the people were great. The only thing is they didn't get the win.
"The coaches were telling me to stay hungry and humble. They know the playoffs start for us this week. They said to buckle down and go the extra mile. They said strive to be unusual."
The 2013 prospect does not hide his feelings about the conference he prefers.
"It's pretty much the same as it's always been," Mix said. "I just love the SEC. I love watching SEC football because of how physical it is."
Mix has recently received new interest from Miami, North Carolina and Notre Dame. He plans to attend the Mississippi State-Alabama game and Ole Miss-LSU game.
