Austin Logan was speechless

Austin Logan, cornerback from Tallahassee-Florida State University School, Fla., had never seen anything like Tuscaloosa, Alabama last Saturda. The talented 2013 recruit recaps his visit to see the Crimson Tide.

"The trip was amazing," said Austin Logan. "Alabama is beautiful. Everything about it was beautiful. You just don't understand. We tried to walk to the stadium and the whole street was covered with fans. It was crazy.

"They took me through the tunnel before the game. When I first looked in the stadium and saw the crowd my jaw just dropped. It left me speechless.

"All the fans at Alabama were so welcoming. I loved their attitude and passion for Alabama. Everyone was walking around saying 'Roll Tide'. They make you excited about Alabama."

Logan talked about the defensive battle between Alabama and LSU.

"That was the best, closest game I've ever seen in person," he said. "Alabama should have pulled it out. They were driving down the field the whole game. I thought it was a solid game. I enjoyed everything about it."

Alabama assistant coach Jeremy Pruitt is in charge of Logan's recruitment.

"I talked to coach Pruitt for a little while after the game," Logan said. "He told me he was coming to see me at my high school. I could tell he was a little upset about the loss. I was a little upset too."

Logan was impressed with the Tide and his overall experience.

"They always have the ability to make it to the national championship," Logan said of Alabama. "No matter how big of a game it is the stadium is always going to be packed. It's packed every game. Everyone is dedicated to Alabama. I like the coaches. I like their demeanor on the field."

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back has scholarship offers from Georgia State, Purdue and Stanford. He is receiving interest from Alabama, Duke and Vanderbilt.

Logan has recorded two interceptions this season, six pass break-ups, 36 tackles and five tackles for loss.
