Tide offers 2013 wide receiver

Ahmad Fulwood, National 100 wide receiver from Jacksonville-Bishop Kenny, Fla., landed an SEC offer on Thursday from Alabama. Andrew Bone talked with class of 2013 prospect about the latest news...

"Alabama offered me today," said Ahmad Fulwood. "They were in my coach's office. Coach Pruitt was there. He said coach Saban is coming down next week.

"It's a good offer. Coach Pruitt was telling my coach how they have some smaller receivers, and they are looking for a big guy. They want me to be that guy."

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound prospect has never visited Tuscaloosa, but one nationally known receiver who plays for the Atlanta Falcons had already grabbed his attention.

"Alabama is a good program," Fulwood said. "They throw the ball a lot. They know how to make NFL receivers. Julio Jones is one of my favorite receivers to ever come out of college. He went to Alabama."

Fulwood does not list any favorite schools at this point during the recruiting process.
