First Half Drought Defeats Tide

Alabama's first half production of a mere sixteen points was to much to overcome. Although the Tide more than doubled their output with thirty-nine second half points, the effort was not enough as the Hoyas of Georgetown squeaked by 57-55.

Alabama, rated 12th in the nation, suffered its first defeat. The unnranked Big East Hoyas hold a 3-2 edge in the series with tonight's victory. Next for the 7-1 Tide will be a road game to face Anthony Grant's alma mater Dayton on December 7th.
