Tide Gymnastics Meets Tape Delayed

Alabama fans who want to see the very best in gymnastics would do well to buy season tickets and witness the extravaganzas provided by Coach Sarah Patterson's team in Coleman Coliseum. But if you can't do that, you will be able to catch the Tide tumblers frequently on delayed telecasts.

Combined, the networks will broadcast 16 Southeastern Conference meets this season, in addition to the SEC Championship. All meets will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis.

Alabama, the defending national champions and picked number two in the nation in the preseason ballot of gymnastics coaches, will be seen no fewer than eight times prior to the SEC Championship Meet, which will be March 24 and aired on ESPN2 and ESPNU beginning March 29.

SEC gymnastics meets will be shown on the ESPN family of networks, plus Fox Sports Net (SportSouth, FS Southwest, and Sun Sports) and CSS.

Alabama's first meet of the year is against Georgia on Jan. 13 and that meet will be re-broadcast on Jan. 19 on ESPNU and Jan. 22 on ESPN2.

Alabama's Jan. 27 meet at Auburn will be shown on CSS on Jan. 31.

Bama will host Florida on Feb. 3 and the broadcast will be on CSS on Feb. 7.

The Crimson Tide at Kentucky, performed on Feb. 10, will be shown Feb. 18 on Fox Sports Net.

On Feb. 17, Bama will host Arkansas and the meet will air on Feb. 23 on ESPNU.

The Tide will be at LSU on Feb. 24 and the meet will be rebroadcast on ESPNU on March 1 and on ESPN2 on March 4.
