Richardson Reflects On Heisman Experience

Alabama All-American Trent Richardson finished third, second highest in school history for a running back, in tonight's 77th annual Heisman Trophy Memorial race. Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III won the award symbolizing the Most Outstanding College Football Player in the United States followed by Stanford signal caller Andrew Luck.

Richardson's third place ties him with Alabama wide receiver David Palmer as the school's second best finish amongst the nineteen former Crimson Tide players to reach the top ten.
