Lester And Alabama Leave No Doubt

Robert Lester has not only achieved All-America status as a Crimson Tide secondary star but a new career may be beckoning as a prognosticator. Earlier in the week prior to tonight's 2012 Allstate BCS National Championship Game, the redshirt-junior was asked could the Alabama defense improve on their November defensive performance against LSU.

He answered the question with a specific number in mind others would have dismissed as being too optimistic. Playing in the city of imperfections, the Crimson Tide achieved defensive perfection. Alabama became the first team to shut out an opponent in a BCS bowl game or BCS Championship. Domination was the operative word in the 21-0 victory over the LSU Tigers. Lester and his Alabama teammates have earned a second BCS National Championship ring in three years having defeated the Texas Longhorns in 2010, 37-21.

The movie "Remember the Titans" made famous the words "Leave No Doubt". Tonight in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, a collection of committed individuals wearing Crimson and White accomplished the same with a game plan executed to perfection. The college football world will forever remember the performance of the Tide.
