Early Enrollee: Amari Cooper
Amari Cooper, four-star wide receiver from Miami-Northwestern, Fla., is on campus in Tuscaloosa and eager for spring practice. The Alabama commitment had an outstanding post-season All-Star game.
Big things are expected for Cooper who demonstrated his skill set at the Under Armour All-America game in January. Cooper is quiet off the field, but is a gamechanger on the gridiron.
Cooper has very good size standing 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. He is explosive off the ball and has separation speed needed to beat cornerbacks in the SEC.
Alabama loses three seniors on the outside due to graduation in Marquis Maze, Darius Hanks and Brandon Gibson. The coaching staff is looking for young receivers to step up and fill the void.
