The University of Alabama has eight players who arrived early in Tuscaloosa for the spring semester.

Chris Black, four-star wide receiver from Jacksonville-First Coast, Fla., was top rated at his position in the Sunshine State for several months.

Black was a member of the National, but was surpassed by new teammate in Tuscaloosa, Amari Cooper. Black remains a great a player in his own right.

Black is an aggressive receiver who goes after the ball at its highest point. He is a smooth route runner and dangerous in the open field. He is a terrific athlete who will get his shot for early playing time at Alabama.
