Nate Andrews visiting Tuscaloosa

Nate Andrews, wide receiver from Fairhope, Ala., had a monster junior season for one of the top football programs in the state. Andrews is hearing from several schools and will attend his first Junior Day this weekend.

"I plan on going to Aabama's Junior Day," said Nate Andrews. "I am looking forward to the visit. Coach Pruitt came by the school last week.

"Alabama is talking about an offer. They said they want to check out my ACT before offering me. That would be great if they offered. I have always loved Alabama."

Andrews talked more about his high interest in the Crimson Tide.

"I like everything about Alabama," said Andrews. "I like how they run and throw the ball. I like how aggressive their defense plays. I just like it all. I have always wanted to go there."

Andrews is also receiving interest from Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU and Nebraska.

"I also like LSU," he said. "I really like their defense. Their receivers are pretty good. I am not really sure the reason I like them. I just do."

The 6-foot, 195-pound prospect had 46 catches for 896 yards and 17 touchdowns during the 2011 season.

"I feel like I improved on getting off jams when DBs are up close on me," said Andrews. "I feel like my biggest strength right now is the deep ball."
