Altee Tenpenny commits to Alabama

The Crimson Tide is already off and running with commitment from a National 100 prospect from Arkansas.

Altee Tenpenny, who is already rated a four-star running back from North Little Rock, Ark., has announced his decision to play college football for the University of Alabama.

The class of 2013 member is in Tuscaloosa for a Junior Day visit.

"I like they give it to their RBs 20-30 times a game," Tenpenny said following an earlier visit to Alabama. "The coaches are disciplined. They go hard for four quarters. They have great academics."

Tenpenny broke his ankle during the first game of the 2011 season. He had 145 carries in 2010 for 1,232 yards with 15 touchdowns.

Tenpenny has numerous other scholarship offers including Auburn, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss.
