Alabama HQ: Junior Day

The University of Alabama is having a monster day in Tuscaloosa reeling in three elite commitments for the class of 2013. New schoalrship offers are also extended to more underclassmen. The 2011 BCS National Champions are gaining a major jumpstart in recruiting.

Altee Tenpenny, National 100 running back from North Little Rock, Ark., was the first player to commit to the Tide on Saturday. Tenpenny has visited Alabama several times and had offers from several schools including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tennessee.

Ardarius Stewart, one of the top athletes from Fultondale, Ala., became the second commitment of the day. Stewart has scholarship offers from Alabama, Clemson, Tennessee and Utah. Alabama offered Stewart on Saturday, and he quickly jumped on the opportunity. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete accounted for 52 touchdowns during his junior season. He could play wide receiver, running back, cornerback or safety on the net level.

Raheem Falkins, wide receiver from New Orleans-Carver, La., was the third commitment of the day. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect recently landed schoalrship offers from Alabama and LSU. Falkins had 10 receiving touchdowns this past season. CLICK HERE: Falkins talks decision.
