Ahmad Fulwood talks SEC visit

Ahmad Fulwood, National 100 wide receiver from Jacksonville-Bishop Kenny, Fla., was one of the top overall prospects at the University of Alabama this weekend for Junior Day. Fulwood talked in-depth about the trip.

"The visit was sweet," said Ahmad Fulwood. "It was a pretty fun weekend. It was my first trip up there. The facilities are ridiculous. I spent a lot of time with Demarcus Walker and my teammate John Wolford.

"The facilities are amazing. People say Alabama sells itself, and it really does. You see how amazing the facilities are when you get on campus. The stadium is amazing even without the 102,000 fans screaming."

Fulwood is a high priority for several schools including Alabama.

"Coach Saban told me I am the No. 1 receiver they are going after in this year's class," he said. "They are coming really hard. They are trying to get me up there.

"The staff is awesome. Coach Pruitt, coach Groh and I have bonded really well. Coach Pruitt and I talk a lot. I met coach Nuss [Doug Nussmeier] this weekend."

"Alabama is impressive. They have always been high on my list. Coach Saban runs his program top notch. I saw the 'Fourth Quarter' program they do when I got there on Friday. It was crazy. I will probably go back up there in the spring or summer."

Other schools making a hard run at Fulwood include Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Ohio State. He does not list any favorites at this time. Recent scholarship offers include Texas A&M and Olahoma State. He plans to visit Florida is two weeks.
