The 6-foot-2, 184-pound athlete talked more about his interest in the Tide.
"I like the football program, facilities, and I like the coaches," Ward said. "There isn't one thing I don't like about them."
Ward is also hearing from Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi State, Penn State and Vanderbilt. He was invited to Junior Day at Georgia and Mississippi State. He plans to camp this summer at Alabama, Arkansas and Vanderbilt.
"This past summer I really worked on getting stronger," Ward said. "My arm strength is really there. I have been working on my footwork. The thing I need to work on the most is my touch, and since I play baseball I throw it like a baseball sometimes."
