Connor Mitch talks Alabama offer

Conner Mitch, quarterback from Raleigh-Wakefield, N.C., reeled in anothe SEC offer. This time it came from the defending national champions.

"I was offered today by Alabama," said Connor Mitch. "I was in the office today, and there was a note for me to call coach Saban. I called him and he offered me.

"Coach Saban talked to me about what all Alabama has to offer. He talked about all the players and national championships they have produced. It was great to get an offer from them. It was an honor."

Mitch attended the Alabama-LSU game last season in Tuscaloosa and Junior Day.

"I love having an offer from them," he said. "Hopefully there are more to come. I like the tradition. You see all the plaques and banners they have down there. There is just so much tradition."

The talented quarterback will visit South Carolina March 31, Florida April 4 and Alabama's spring game April 14.
