Alabama: Recruiting notebook

The University of Alabama is hot on the trail of several elite prospects throughout the country. New offers have been extended and prospects are planning visits in April. Andrew Bone has the latest in this week's notebook.

The topics of discussion include Max Browne, five-star quarterback from Sammamish-Skyline, Wash., and Mitch Connor, quarterback from Raleigh-Wakefield, N.C., who was offered a scholarship by Alabama on Tuesday.

What about the quarterback Mitch Trubisky? He is a four-star from Mentor, Ohio, who also has scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Ohio State and Toledo. What are his plans?

Mackensie Alexander officially decommits from Tennessee. What the latest news?

Joey Bosa, five-star defensive end from Fort Lauderdale-St. Thomas Aquinas, Fla., has talked favorites. When will he visit Tuscaloosa? Where does the Tide stand in line with the other schools?
