"All they do at Alabama is win."

"Alabama is my overall favorite," said this four-star prospect. "They are recruiting me the hardest. I talk to coach Kirby Smart at least twice a week. I definitely talk to him more than anyone else. We have a great connection with each other. There is no doubt about it." Read all of this and much more....

Brendan Langley, four-star cornerback from Marietta-Kell, Ga., has several scholarship offers with the SEC favorite.

"We talk about the history of the program," Langley said of Alabama's defensive coordinator, Kirby Smart. "He looks up some new stat each week he can fly by me. We don't just talk about football. He asked about me how my day has been and stuff like that. I appreciate that the most. He is very honest and truthful with me. We talk about whatever.

Langley is also impressed with the Tide's head coach.

"Coach Saban being a defensive backs coach is a plus," he said. "You can't go wrong with having the head coach as your position coach."

Langley compared Alabama's football program to Kentucky basketball.

"The progression players make by choosing to play at Kentucky for basketball is the same with going to Alabama to play football," he said. "You may not even play a lot, but the chances are so much better for you going to the next level.

"It's the same way at Alabama. I love their tradition. All they do at Alabama is win. Why would anyone not want to win."

Langley will not attend the Tide's spring game on April 14th due to the ACT. He plans to visit spring practice Friday, April 6th.

Langley plans to announce his decision at the end of the summer before his senior season. The school on the heels of the Crimson Tide for his commitment is Georgia.

"Coach Friend and I have a great relationship," he said. "On their Junior Day he had offensive linemen blowing up his phone. He was with me the whole time. Just like with coach Smart. It's a genuine relationship.

"I don't talk about playing time much with coaches. They have the opportunity for me. When the opportunity is in front of me I feel like I can take it. I like the tradition they have at Georgia and the way they put DBs in the NFL."
