Pollard Announces Two Visits

Devonta Pollard, a Scout.com five-star rated forward, contacted ‘BAMA Magazine/'BamaMag.com Sunday to announce two more scheduled official visits.

The highly coveted Kemper County HS (De Kalb, MS) prospect has been racking up awards with the frequency of slam dunks - Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year, crowned by The Clarion Ledger as Mississippi's Mr. Basketball and MVP of the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game.

Those honors are in addition to being a two-time member of the Mississippi Dandy Dozen and earning various district, region and tournament MVP's over the course of an illustrious prep career. Devonta's mother, Mrs. Jessie Pollard, said official visits are scheduled for Alabama on the weekend of April 6th and Georgetown around April 16th. Missouri and Texas are the two other schools he has officially visited.

Devonta Pollard is currently in Chicago to participate in the McDonald's All-American Game as a member of the West Team. The game held at the United Center will air live on ESPN, Wednesday, March 28th at 8:30 PM CT. No date has been set to sign a National Letter of Intent.
