Bo Scarborough talks Tide visit

Bo Scarborough, running back from Tuscaloosa-Northridge, Ala., spent Friday afternoon at the Alabama football practice facility watching the Crimson Tide. The elite 2014 prospect talked of his short drive to campus. More than 1,400 high school football coaches were also in town for the weekend.

"The visit to Bama was pretty good," said Bo Scarborough. "We were sitting on the balcony watching them practice. They basically do the same stuff we do, but more intense.

"I couldn't see too much because of all the coaches who were there. I like that it's basically the same thing we do. That's what really stood out to me."

Scarborough attended practice with teammate 2013 wide receiver James Cox. They spoke with one underclassman who expects to see the field this fall.

"We talked to Ed [Marynowitz] a little bit," Scarborough said. "We also talked to Danny [Woodson] a good bit. He was telling us he thinks he may be starting this year. That's good for him because he is only a sophomore. I did watch him. He looked pretty good. He looks like he knows what he is doing."

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder has scholarship offers from Alabama, Clemson, Mississippi State, Troy and UCLA. He plans to visit Mississippi State next weekend.
