Reuben Foster transfers

Reuben Foster, the nation's top linebacker, has found a new home. The Tide commitment talked about the new school and where he will play football for his senior season.

"I am transferring to Auburn High School," Reuben Foster said Wednesday afternoon. "I really wasn't sure what I was going to do. We had talked about it, but didn't make a decision until yesterday.

"I will begin classes tomorrow. I look forward to it. I am excited. I haven't had the opportunity to meet with coach Carter yet."

Foster wasn't happy with the situation at Troup County High School in Ga. when his former head coach was dimissed. He started looking for a new school for the 2012 season.

The Alabama commitment is the nation's No. 2 overall prospect. He continues to receive interest from schools across the country which also includes UGA and Auburn.

Foster also told FoxSportsNext, "I am going to be hearing a lot about the Auburn Tigers. I will be right down the street from their stadium and I know a lot of Auburn fans go to that school.

"I am an Alabama commitment though and I am sticking with my commitment. I have to do what is best for me and going to Alabama seems best right now.

"I know people want me to go to other schools, but Alabama is the school I have committed to. For those that are wondering, me going to Auburn High School does not mean anything about my commitment to Alabama."
