The University of Alabama picked up a pair commitments on Saturday who are well known for their speed. The MVP of the Tide's A-Day game was Alabama's Mr. Football and MVP of the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic just four months ago.

T.J. Yeldon was a shining star at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday finishing the game with 16 carries for 94 yards, and five receptions for 91 yards with one touchdown (50 long).

Nick Saban said, "T.J. did a good job in all the scrimmages. He was the difference in the game for his team, and had a lot of production. He's a good runner. He's got some speed. He can do a lot of things."

Alabama landed two verbal pledges with wide receiver Deon Johnson from Spanish Fort, Ala., and cornerback Anthony Averett from Woodbury, N.J.
