National 100 tight end visits Alabama
"It was a good visit," said Hunter Henry. "It was definitely good to get back. I went there for the Junior Day. It was good to see the coaches and players again.
"We toured the campus. My mom was with me this time. She wanted to see everything. She thought it was pretty impressive. She thought it was a great school and great program. They are national champions. She likes the off-the-field stuff and character building they do."
Alabama has a commitment from one of the nation's top players in O.J. Howard. They want to add another elite tight end in this class.
"They were saying they are in need of a tight end," Henry said. "They want to use tight ends more and spread people out. I spoke with coach Saban, coach Groh and coach Williams. It's a great staff. I love all of them. They are great coaches and great people. It's been fun getting to know them."
Henry talked more about his interest in the SEC program.
"I really like Alabama a lot," he said. "They are definitely one of the top schools I am considering. They have a great program. It's just amazing, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to go there."
The nation's No. 3 tight end does not have any favorites at this time. He plans to visit Arkansas next weekend.
