Jonathan Cook talks visit

Jonathan Cook, cornerback from Spanish Fort, Ala., was in Tuscaloosa for the Tide's A-Day game. Cook traveled to Alabama with teammate, Deon Johnson, who committed this weekend.

"The visit to Alabama was nice," said Jonathan Cook. "It was real nice. The barbeque was good. It was a lot of fun.

"The spring game was nice. T.J. [Yeldon] and I used to play on the same team when we were young. I liked everything I saw. I want to be up there in Crimson and play there. T.J. did pretty good out there. Ryan [Anderson] looked pretty good."

Cook is receiving interest from the Alabama coaching staff and will continue to evaluate during the spring.

"I talked coach Saban and coach Pruitt," he said. "They want me to come up there for camp. They said they like me. I hope I can get that offer. I love the coaching staff. I love their defense. It's Bama football."

Cook has scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Minnesota and South Alabama.

"I like everything about Alabama's program," Cook said. "I can tell they care about you a lot. They can help get you to the next level."

Cook will attend Tennessee's Orange and White game this weekend.
