Athletic QB can play several positions

Daphne's Patrick White is a classic example of a young man who is the best athlete on the team playing quarterback.

Patrick White (6-2, 180) is an athletic quarterback who rushed for 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior while passing for 500 yards and two additional scores.

White's high school coach describes him as a "pure athlete that can take it the distance on every play."

A one-man scoring machine that accounted 18 TDs as a junior quarterback, White's ability as a playmaker was noted by his coach. "Patrick had five touchdown runs over 90 yards as a junior; he's explosive."

Following his junior season White was honored by being selected to the All Region and All County teams, while making honorable mention All State.

White is also a quality baseball prospect that is already being scouted by pro teams. His speed is the driving force behind his exposure in both football and baseball. White has been clocked at 6.37 for 60 yards and a blistering 4.35 in the forty-yard dash.

Right now though his focus is on football. According to his coach White has worked diligently during the off season to develop his skills under center. He would like to get a shot at quarterback on the college level but is open to playing wide receiver or free safety.

White has attended camp at Alabama, the Bowden Quarterback Academy and the U.S. Army camp in Texas.

He bench presses 255 pounds, squats 415 and power cleans 255. White is academically set with a 3.0 GPA and a 20 ACT.

Patrick's brother, James White, is playing college football at West Liberty State University in West Virginia.

White is looking hard at Colorado, Alabama, Mississippi State, Auburn, West Virginia, Clemson, Ole Miss and many more.
