The University of Alabama landed a big commitment from out-of-state, another prospect picked up an offer from the Tide, and a player from the 2011 BCS National Champions signed a huge contract.


Darius Paige (6-foot-4, 285), defensive tackle from Washington High School in Pensacola, Fla., committed to Alabama on Saturday. The Tide coaching staff had their eye on him for a while. Paige ended his junior season with 97 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, three sacks, and three forced fumbles.


Marquez White, cornerback from Northview High School in Dothan, Ala., picked up an offer from Alabama. White has really exploded this spring with numerous scholarship offers. READ HERE

Dre Kirkpatrick has signed a four-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. The former Crimson Tider, from Gadsden (Ala.) City, laughed at one school's obsession with the type of car he drove in high school and college. Bet he can buy a few more Dodge Chargers now. READ HERE
