Jonathan Allen commits to Alabama
Jonathan Allen, from Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Va., will play his college football in Tuscaloosa.
The four-star had really trimmed his list to just two schools, Alabama and Florida. Allen took a visit to the Capstone during the weekend. That was all that was needed to decide to play college football for the 2011 BCS National Champions.
"I just committed to Alabama," Allen said on Monday morning. "I felt like it was the best fit for me in the long run."
Allen was born in Anniston, Ala. He moved when he was very young, but remained an Alabama fan.
"I love the intensity they play with especially in the SEC," he said. "Every game is a big test. It's always going to be a rough game. That's the type of football I like."
