The University of Alabama picked up a big commitment this week, numerous players have the date circled on their calendar for the June camp in Tuscaloosa, and a five-star running back is eager to spend more time with the Tide coaches next month.

Jonathan Allen, four-star defensive end from Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Va., has been high on the Tide since he was a small child born in Anniston, Ala. It took one trip to the Alabama campus last weekend to convince him to return for his college career.

Derrick Henry, five-star running back from Yulee High School in Fla., has been committed to UGA for a while. He has his sights set on visiting Alabama in June and re-thinking his decision. Stay tuned..

Josh McNeil, four-star tight end from Hillside High School in Durham, N.C., will visit Tuscaloosa in June. Alabama is sitting high on the list.

Corey Smith, wide receiver prospect from East Miss. Community College (EMCC), will graduate in December. Alabama remains on on this prospect, and the feeling is mutual.

Brodie Croyle has officially retired from the NFL.
