Kendell Beckwith talks Alabama camp
"The camp at Alabama went good," said Kendell Beckwith. "I worked out yesterday, and then the first practice today.
"They just had me working at outside linebacker. I think I did good. I was doing everything they asked of me. We did some pass rushing stuff. They couldn't block me.
"I worked with coach Thompson. He gave me some pointers. He was coaching me up the whole time. I love working with him. He knows his stuff. All the coaches told me I did great."
The four-star prospect spent time with Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
"I talked to coach Saban before I left," Beckwith said. "He talked about how they are going to go about doing things in their program. He just talked about Alabama. He doesn't talk about other schools. He just talks about Alabama. He said they would love to have me. He said he was really impressed with my athleticism. He can see me as a nickel linebacker or any linebacker position on their team."
Beckwith travels to Baton Rouge for camp on Tuesday and will spend two days with the LSU Tigers. He will have a tough decision down the road.
"I am getting more comfortable at Alabama," Beckwith said. "I have been there several times now. It's going to be a very tough decision. Alabama is real cool. I really like it up there."
