Demarcus Bingham names favorite

Demarcus Bingham, wide receiver from Foley High School in Ala., was one of the top overall performers at the 7-on-7 tournament held this past weekend at the University of Alabama. The 2014 prospect is receiving a lot of early interest.

"I don't have any offers yet," said Demarcus Bingham. "There are some schools who are on me pretty hard though. Schools like Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Texas Tech and Louisiana-Lafayette are showing a lot of interest.

"My favorite school is Alabama. That's my top school. I want to take a trip down to LSU to see what they are like."

Bingham talked more about his high interest in the Crimson Tide.

"There is nothing not to like about them," he said. "I know a lot of the coaching staff. They have what I want to major in (Business). The have good facilities. I like coach Saban. A couple of players I know have gone there and to the NFL There is just nothing I don't like about them.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pund prospect has camped at Auburn and UAB. He plans on camping at LSU and Ole Miss in July.

Bingham talked about his strengths and the area of his game he wants to improve.

"My strengths are my hands, vertical and strength," he said. "Everything is good except my footwork. That's the main thing I want to improve."
