The University of Alabama has a trio of commitments participating in an All-Star event this weekend, the Tide has made the top two for an elite prospect, and half a dozen prospects have announced their college decision.


Alabama commitments O.J. Howard, Reuben Foster and Grant Hill will participate in the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge this weekend in Atlanta. The event will have players in one-on-one match-ups and a round-robin 7-on-7 tournament. Eighty players have been invited in the class of 2013 and 20 players from the class of 2014.

Josh McNeil, four-star tight end from Hillside High School in Durham, N.C., announced on twitter his top two schools. He plans to announce his decision at The Opening in Oregon in July.
