After redshirting as a freshman, the Foley High School product contributed in a reserve role and on special teams in his first season. He has played with authority and consistency ever since being inserted into the Alabama lineup as a sophomore. Robert Lester is viewed by the underclassmen as a mentor. The soft spoken senior has become a valuable communicator to the members of the last line of defense – the secondary. Monday's press conference was a chance for him to explain the prime reasons for success.
