Hill still 'Rolling Tide'

It seems like a long way from national signing day 2012, but Brandon Hill is nearly ready to get back to the point where he's ready to enroll to at Alabama. It doesn't mean plenty of programs haven't tried to make up ground with him since he began at Hargrave.

Brandon Hill is the prototypical offensive tackle on paper. He's 6-foot-6, 350 pounds and came from a good football state in Tennessee at St. George's - Collierville High.

While he is ideal on paper, he didn't take the traditional route to college football. Due to academic concern and some question with the NCAA clearinghouse, he ended up at the powerhouse post-grad school that is Hargrave Millitary Academy in Virginia.

Fast-forward a few months, and the former three-star prospect is nearly ready to wrap up his time at the school.

"We've got just two games left," he said. "Everything is going good."

While the year is winding down, his recruitment has been heating up throughout the post-grad process.

"Yea I mean other teams are coming at me heavy," said Hill. "But I'm still rolling Tide, I talk to coach the other day I should be attending there in January."

Hill added that the Alabama staff, which he committed to nearly a year ago before signing with the eventual BCS Champions, will honor his original pledge to accept him in the class of 2013.

BamaMag.com will have much more with Hill after the season.
