On Tuesday, Hill reported the news he has been waiting for.
"I just received my test score! Made a 20 which matches my g.p.a. and makes me qualified!" Hill said.
The former three-star offensive lineman projects best at guard, but he's playing tackle for Hargrave at 6-foot-6, 350 pounds. He has admittedly been focusing on the books of late, but he's ready to turn more of his focus back to football.
"It's time to grind harder," said Hill. "Now I can put some of the books down and get full time back in the weight room and get better.
"I got a dream to chase."
So what's the next step now that Hargrave's season is over?
Said Hill, "Wait to January and sign my LOI (letter of intent) to 'Bama."
Hill attempted to share the good news with Alabama recruiting coordinator Mike Groh, but he was unable to do so at the time of this story. Still, he has been in constant contact with him of late. The two last spoke over the weekend.
"He was just giving me a motivational speech," added Hill. "Really telling me to keep pushing and keep going hard."
