Belue All Smiles After Scoring TD For Tide

Alabama scored six offensive touchdowns in the 49-0 shutout of Western Carolina on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Cornerback Deion Belue retrieved a backwards pass ruled a fumble and carried the ball for a 57-yard touchdown to widen the gap to 42-0 right before halftime. The second quarter score was the third non-offensive touchdown of the year and first fumble return for six points.

The Northwest Mississippi CC transfer has recorded two interceptions, six pass breakups and 31 tackles, 22 unassisted thus far in 11 games. Deion Belue and the entire Alabama team bought into the "one game at a time" focus preached by head coach Nick Saban.
