Tide Football At Two-Thirds Mark

Alabama marks the two-thirds completion mark of spring football practice with the Crimson Tide's 10th workout on Wednesday. Bama will have another practice Friday as part of the annual spring coaching clinic, a scrimmage Saturday, and three practices next week – including the A-Day Game on Saturday, April 20, that concludes spring training.

Alabama was out in full gear again Wednesday and things were much the same as they had been Monday.

Junior inside linebacker Trey DePriest was still with Strength and Conditioning Coach Scott Cochran and fellow injured players on stationary bicycles. DePriest, who appears to have a foot or ankle injury, has joined senior wide receiver Kevin Norwood and senior defensive back John Fulton, who are out for the spring after having undergone surgery for a turf toe injury. Sportswriters will meet with Coach Saban following practice, at which time we will likely be informed of the extent of DePriest's injury.

Also as on Monday, sophomore Dee Hart was working with the running backs in the brief period in which sports reporters could view practice. He has spent some time this spring practicing with defensive backs.

Hart and fellow running back/H-back Jalston Fowler, wide receiver DeAndrew White, and linebacker C.J. Mosley are among those working in black (non-contact) jerseys but taking part in drills.
