Kenny Bell Returns To Bama Practice

The only news from observation of Wednesday's Alabama football practice, as expected, is that senior wide receiver Kenny Bell has returned to work after taking what Coach Nick Saban called a "personal day." The buzz Tuesday before Saban clarified the situation was that Bell had left the team.

Alabama has spent the first three days of this week correcting mistakes from the season=opener, a 35-10 win over Virginia Tech in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta last Saturday. The Crimson Tide has an open date this weekend.

In the brief period reporters are allowed to view practice field work, the only thing to see was that Kenny Bell was back working with the receivers. He was in his normal practice uniform, number 7.

Also, as has been the case for the past few weeks, the only players in black non-contact jerseys were the quarterbacks.

On another hot day, the Tide was in full gear for the second consecutive day.

Things change a bit Thursday as Bama will begin working on the game plan for Texas A&M and its talented quarterback Johnny Manziel. Alabama meets the Aggies in College Station a week from Saturday with kickoff at 2:30 p.m. CDT and CBS televising the game.
