Iso Cam: Christian Miller

Christian Miller was one of the highest prospects on Alabama's board, and the coaching staff snagged a commitment from the pass-rushing specialist in July. Now stronger than ever, the four-star displays plenty of skill on tape and Scout isolated its camera on him for more than 40 plays this past Friday night for a closer look.

Prospect: Christian Miller

Vitals: 6-foot-4, 215 lbs

Position: Outside Linebacker

Class: 2014

Hometown: Columbia, S.C.

School: Spring Valley High School

Ranking: | No. 6 OLB nationally.

Recruiting: Committed to Alabama. Georgia and Florida still in pursuit.

Quick Take: Miller is an ideal edge rusher for today's pass-happy offenses. He has the length to make plays all over the field against the run or the pass, displays an excellent first step and has more polished pass-rushing moves as a senior than he did over the summer. The four-star has added strength to be able to combat blockers better, and it shows with better leverage technique and a bull-rush that helped lead to three sacks with Scout in attendance on Friday night. He needs to work better in space when he drops in pass coverage, though it seems like that will only be on occasion at the next level just as it is currently for the undefeated Spring Valley Vikings.

Highlights of Miller, in this game wearing No. 7 in green, from Friday's game against Bylthewood (S.C.), are available below.
