Vol commit talks 'Bama offer

Alabama wrapped up a 45-10 win over Tennessee on Saturday and offered one of its class of 2015 commitments on Tuesday. Find out what the three-star had to say about the extension and more inside.

6-foot-5, 270-pound Jack Jones pulled the trigger to in-state SEC program Tennessee in May and he's been all in on the Volunteers ever since.

However, he earned an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide on Tuesday.

"It was good news from a good program," he said. "It's a great offer, but I have my mind set right now.

"Tennessee is my main priority right now. It's a good offer and I'm greatly appreciative."

The three-star junior out of Murfreesboro (Ten.) Oakland High School got the news from Nick Saban.

"Coach Saban talked to me on the phone," Jones said. "He just told me he watched film on me before a home game last week and he said he likes me a lot.

"I think it's just an O-line offer."

The class of 2015 standout does not currently have visit plans to be in Tuscaloosa.
