Clark's final contest

Ronnie Clark's final game in a Calera jersey is one he'll remember for several reasons. Though his team fell in a close game, he held his own in rushing for better than 200 yards and accounting for three scores while playing both ways most of the night. Scout was there for it all.

Prospect: Ronnie  Clark

Vitals: 6-foot-3, 213 lbs

Position: Quarterback, Outside Linebacker (projection)

Class: 2014

Hometown: Calera, Ala.

School: Calera High School

Ranking: | No. 8 OLB nationally

Recruiting: Committed to Alabama

Quick Take: Clark plays mostly quarterback in high school, but he played both ways during last week's playoff loss to Dadeville (Ala.), making plays on both sides of the ball. Clark runs with power and grit with the ball in his hands, and often looks like a man among boys. Defensively, he is a sure tackler and shows good range in the box, though he lacks ideal aggression on that side of the ball.
