Weekend visitor slate

Alabama hosts UT-Chattanooga Saturday, but a handful of visitors will be staying in Tuscaloosa into Sunday while on official visits, including some elite targets and an in-state commitment. Get inside for the latest on these visitors and more.

C.J. Hampton has been to Alabama several times this fall on unofficial visits, but this weekend he'll get a more in-depth look at Tuscaloosa while on his official visit to campus.

The four-star safety remains committed to Ole Miss, as he has been for nearly 18 months, but Florida State, LSU and Auburn remain in pursuit of the big-hitter in addition to the Crimson Tide.

Another committed prospect, Marcelys Jones, will head to Alabama for his official visit along with Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville teammates and four-star defensive backs Marshon Lattimore and Erick Smith. Jones remains pledged to Ohio State, as a final decision must be made soon considering he's set to enroll in January. Hampton is in the same boat.

Three-star linebacker Shaun Hamilton, a longtime Tide commitment, is also taking in Tuscaloosa for his official visit. He's another to begin his college career in January.
