McCarron Has Senior Moment With Brother

A.J. McCarron has participated in many grandiose moments as the starting quarterback of the Crimson Tide, two BCS National Championships wins along with establishing career school records. Senior Day at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa provided another opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream, throwing a pass to his younger brother, sophomore tight tend Corey McCarron. The third quarter three-yard completion in the final home game for the senior quarterback created a memory for the ages.

Nick Saban notified the elder brother in the tunnel coming out at halftime the play would be called for the younger sibling. The Heisman Trophy candidate finished the day completing 13 of 16 attempts for 171 yards and two touchdown tosses in the 49-0 shutout by Alabama (11-0) over Chattanooga (8-4). He has thrown 23 touchdown passes this season and increased his career school record to 72 thus far.
